In my over thirty years of ministry since April 22nd, 1990, I have witnessed and recorded hundreds of miracles, healings, deliverances, and amazing answers to prayers. These experiences prove beyond doubt that what God cannot do does not exist! Below are some testimonies illustrating how God’s ability transforms lives and how faith can move mountains.
God Healed Us of Appendicitis
A medical doctor diagnosed me with appendicitis and asked me to go for a scan test for confirmation. While waiting for the scan the next morning, I spent most of the night praying for healing and divine intervention. Suddenly, I heard the Holy Spirit speak to my heart with the words “SUPERNATURAL EVACUATION.” I knew that was the prayer point, so I began to pray for a supernatural evacuation or surgery to take place in my abdomen. Soon enough, the pain I was feeling subsided, and I fell asleep.
The next morning, while in the CT scan room, the doctor checked and rechecked, and low and behold… there was nothing to worry about. God had healed me! This experience reaffirmed my belief that what God cannot do does not exist.
A member and the head usher of our church in Ijebu-Ode city, Nigeria, was diagnosed with the same condition, appendicitis, at the State Hospital Ijebu-Ode. He had the first scan, and it was confirmed. He was scheduled for surgery on a Wednesday. The Sunday before his surgery, he asked for prayers. I laid hands on his abdomen and prayed a short prayer of faith. He later testified that he felt something like fire run through him while I prayed.
When he was being prepared for surgery, the surgeon casually requested a second scan. To everyone’s amazement, he was healed, and the surgery was canceled. What God cannot do does not exist.
Kidney Surgery Canceled by Faith
A young lady came to one of our healing services seeking prayers for a kidney problem that required surgery at the Christchurch Hospital. I laid hands on her and prayed in faith for a supernatural surgery and healing.
The following Wednesday, she was taken into the hospital and the operating room. The doctor did not conduct any additional pre-surgery checks aside from the initial diagnosis. When they opened her up to begin the surgery, there was nothing to correct. She had been healed. What God cannot do does not exist
A Miraculous Pregnancy
A couple attended our Easter prayer conference with the woman pregnant and diagnosed that the baby in her womb had water in his brain. We prayed for her in faith, and she went back to the Christchurch hospital the following week. A new test was conducted, and the water in the baby’s brain had disappeared!
What God cannot do does not exist. Do not believe every conclusion that is not of God. He can do all things if only you believe.
Introduction
The Scriptures have a way of conveying the same truths in diverse ways. The expression that God can do all things is revealed through various perspectives in the Bible to help build our faith:
- God can do all things – Ephesians 3:20
- Nothing is impossible with God – Luke 1:37 (What God cannot do does not exist)
- God can do what is impossible with men – Matthew 10:27
- God can do all you think – Ephesians 3:20
- God can do all you ask – Ephesians 3:20
Suppose you believe these Scriptural conclusions about every difficult situation. In that case, every doctor’s pronounced impossibility, every dead-end situation, or storm of life, your testimonies will look like these according to Ephesians 3:20:
“Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us.”
Ephesians 3:20
Understanding Ephesians 3:20
- Exceedingly: Going beyond limits!
- Abundantly: Superior in quantity and quality; exceptionally large quantity.
- Above: Over or superior to your expectations.
- All things: All means all!
Faith: The Key to Unlocking Impossibilities
The power within you, which unlocks impossibilities, is called faith. If your faith is to produce results and be effective, you must ensure:
- Your Expectations are right and positive: Expect that God will come through for you.
- Your Thoughts are right and positive: Keep your mind focused on God’s promises.
- Your Words or confessions are right and positive: Speak words of faith and not doubt.
- Your Actions are right and positive: Act in faith, believing that God will do what He has promised.
The Power of Positive Expectations
It was positive expectations that healed the woman with the issue of blood in the Bible. Mark 5:28-29 says:
“For she thought, ‘If I just touch His clothing, I will get well.’ Immediately her flow of blood was dried up, and she felt in her body [and knew without any doubt] that she was healed of her suffering.”
This woman had suffered for twelve years, spent all she had on doctors, and yet grew worse. But her positive expectation, her faith in Jesus, moved her to action. She reached out and touched His garment, and she was healed. This is a powerful example of how faith can move mountains.
The Role of Faith in Miracles
Faith is not just a passive belief; it is an active trust in God’s promises. Hebrews 11:1 defines faith as:
“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”
Faith involves believing in God’s ability to intervene in our lives, even when circumstances seem impossible. It is this kind of faith that has the power to transform lives and bring about miracles.
The Testimonies of Faith
The testimonies shared earlier illustrate how faith in God’s ability can lead to miraculous healings and divine interventions. Whether it is the healing of appendicitis, the cancellation of kidney surgery, or the miraculous pregnancy, each story highlights the transformative power of faith.
Encouragement for Your Faith Journey
As you journey through life, you will encounter challenges and situations that seem insurmountable. However, remember that what God cannot do does not exist. Trust in His ability to work miracles in your life. Here are some steps to strengthen your faith:
- Read and Meditate on God’s Word: The Bible is full of promises that can strengthen your faith. Spend time reading and meditating on these promises.
- Pray with Expectation: When you pray, believe that God hears you and will answer. Pray with the expectation that God will move mountains in your life.
- Surround Yourself with Believers: Surround yourself with people who have strong faith and can encourage you in your walk with God.
- Remember Past Miracles: Reflect on past instances where God has come through for you. Let these memories strengthen your faith for the present and future.
- Confess God’s Promises: Speak God’s promises over your life. Let your words align with your faith.
Conclusion
God’s ability to transform lives is beyond human comprehension. The testimonies of His miraculous works are a testament to His power and love. What God cannot do does not exist. If you believe in His power and promises, your faith can indeed move mountains.
The Scriptures remind us time and again that God can do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to His power at work within us. Let this truth anchor your faith. No matter what you face, remember that with God, all things are possible. Let your faith rise, and watch as God’s ability transforms your life in miraculous ways.
